The Lauren B Method

Color Is Not
a Choice.
It's a Science.

Every person carries a unique chromatic fingerprint — a combination of skin undertone, eye pigment, natural contrast, and depth that determines which colors elevate and which diminish. At Lauren B Color Studio, we decode this fingerprint through precision analysis, not guesswork.

About Lauren B.
Color Studio

I created Lauren B. Color Studio from a simple belief: the right colors should help you feel more like yourself.

Color has an incredible way of changing how we see ourselves. The right shades can brighten your complexion, bring your eyes to life, make getting dressed easier, and give you a renewed sense of confidence. My goal is to make personal color analysis feel approachable, beautiful, and genuinely useful in everyday life.

Each analysis is thoughtfully personalized using your natural coloring, including your skin tone, eye color, hair color, contrast, and overall harmony. From there, I create a custom Beauty Guide filled with flattering colors, makeup recommendations, hair inspiration, jewelry suggestions, and styling ideas designed specifically for you.

This is not about following every trend or changing who you are. It is about discovering the colors and details that naturally enhance your features and help you feel polished, confident, and completely yourself.

At Lauren B. Color Studio, I want every client to walk away feeling seen, encouraged, and excited to use her colors—whether she is refreshing her wardrobe, choosing makeup, changing her hair, or simply wanting to feel a little more radiant every day.

Your colors. Your confidence. Your best self.

Good To Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your personalized color analysis and Beauty Guide.

A personal color analysis identifies the colors that best complement your natural features, including your skin tone, undertone, eye color, hair color, contrast, depth, and overall coloring. Your results can help you choose clothing, makeup, hair color, jewelry, and accessories that make you look brighter, more balanced, and naturally polished.

You will submit a clear, forward-facing photograph taken in natural light with little to no makeup. Your photo is reviewed to evaluate your natural coloring, undertone, contrast, and overall harmony. These details are then used to create your personalized Beauty Guide with colors and beauty recommendations selected specifically for you.

No. Lauren B. Color Studio provides digital color-analysis services that can be completed from the comfort of your home. Your finished guide will be delivered electronically.

For the best results, please submit a photograph that is forward-facing, taken in natural daylight, clear and in focus, free from filters or heavy photo editing, taken with little to no makeup, free from strongly colored lighting, and taken without sunglasses or tinted glasses. Pulling your hair away from your face can also help reveal your natural skin tone more clearly.

Yes. A modern phone camera works very well. Natural lighting and an accurate representation of your coloring are more important than having a professional camera.

Little to no makeup is best. Foundation, bronzer, blush, lipstick, and strong eye makeup can change the appearance of your natural coloring and may affect the analysis. A light moisturizer and clear lip balm are fine.

Wear a simple, neutral-colored top when possible. Soft gray, beige, cream, or white usually works well. Avoid very bright colors near your face because they can reflect onto your skin and affect how your coloring appears.

Your personalized guide may include your seasonal color palette; undertone, contrast, depth, and brightness; best clothing colors; best neutrals and accent colors; colors that may be less flattering; best jewelry metals; makeup color recommendations; makeup placement guidance; hair color suggestions; hairstyle recommendations; and your best overall beauty and style direction. The exact contents depend on the guide or service you purchase.

Seasonal color analysis generally organizes coloring into families based on temperature, depth, brightness, and softness. The four main seasons are Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. These may be divided into more specific categories, such as Soft Summer, Deep Autumn, Bright Spring, or Cool Winter. Your recommended season is selected based on the combination that appears most harmonious with your natural coloring.

Color analysis can vary depending on the method used, the photograph, lighting, hair color, makeup, and the analyst's interpretation. Your Lauren B. Color Studio guide reflects the coloring visible in the photograph you submit. It is intended to provide helpful direction rather than restrict you to one rigid label.

No. You can wear any color you love. Your guide is designed to show which colors are likely to enhance your complexion, eyes, and overall appearance most naturally. Colors outside your recommended palette can still be worn through accessories, prints, layering, or placement away from the face.

Your guide focuses primarily on flattering shade families, finishes, and placement. Examples may include recommendations such as soft rose blush, neutral taupe eyeshadow, warm berry lipstick, or champagne highlighter. Product-style visuals may be included for inspiration, but availability and formulas vary by brand.

Yes, when included in the service purchased. Hair recommendations may cover flattering color directions, highlight ideas, dimension, tones to avoid, maintenance suggestions, and hairstyle options based on your features and visible hair characteristics.

A photograph can help identify general undertone and shade direction, but it cannot guarantee an exact foundation match. Lighting, camera settings, screen colors, and product formulas can all affect how a shade appears. For the most accurate match, test foundation in person along the jawline in natural light.

Online analysis can provide valuable and highly personalized guidance when the submitted photograph is clear and accurately represents your natural coloring. However, camera settings, lighting, screen displays, makeup, hair color, and photo editing may affect the results. Recommendations are based on the visual information provided and are not an exact scientific measurement.

Your estimated turnaround time will be listed on the product page or in your order confirmation. Turnaround times may vary depending on order volume, the guide selected, and whether an additional photograph or clarification is needed.

Your completed Beauty Guide will be delivered digitally, typically by email or through a downloadable file link. Please make sure your email address is entered correctly when placing your order.

Yes. Your guide is designed for personal digital use and may also be printed for your own reference. Print colors may vary slightly depending on your printer, ink, paper, and print settings. Professional printing often provides the most consistent results.

You may share selected pages or images from your personalized guide on your personal social-media account. Please keep the Lauren B. Color Studio branding visible and do not resell, redistribute, or present the guide as your own work.

Yes. A personalized color analysis can make a thoughtful gift. The recipient will still need to provide an appropriate photograph and any requested information before the analysis can be completed.

Yes. Personal color analysis can be helpful for anyone who wants guidance with clothing, professional attire, eyewear, hair color, accessories, and grooming choices.

Yes, with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian when appropriate. Natural coloring can continue to change with age, hair coloring, sun exposure, and other factors, so recommendations may evolve over time.

No. Your photograph and personalized guide will not be used publicly for advertising, social media, portfolio examples, or promotional content without your separate permission. Your photo may be processed using the tools and service providers needed to create and deliver your guide, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Lauren B. Color Studio may use design, image-editing, and AI-assisted tools as part of the creative process. These tools may help with visual analysis, layout, illustration, styling examples, and guide production. Each guide is still created using the information and photograph provided by the individual customer.

No. All color, makeup, hair, and beauty recommendations are provided for personal styling, educational, and informational purposes only. They are not medical, dermatological, allergy, cosmetic-treatment, or healthcare advice.

You may be contacted and asked to submit another photograph if the original image is unclear, heavily filtered, poorly lit, taken from an angle, or does not accurately show your natural coloring. Providing a suitable photograph helps produce the most useful and accurate recommendations.

Please review the revision terms listed with your selected service. Minor corrections may be considered when the guide contains an error or does not reflect the information submitted. A change of preference, newly colored hair, a different photograph, or a request for a different seasonal result may require an additional purchase or revision fee.

Because personalized Beauty Guides are custom digital products, refunds may be limited once work has begun or the completed guide has been delivered. Please review the Refund Policy before purchasing for full details.
