Refund & Cancellation Policy

Personalized Digital Services

Lauren B. Color Studio provides customized digital services and products, including personal color analyses, Beauty Guides, makeup recommendations, hair recommendations, style guidance, color palettes, and related personalized materials.

Because these products are created specifically for one customer and cannot be resold or reused for another person, purchases are generally nonrefundable once personalized work has begun.

Cancellations Before Work Begins

You may request cancellation of your order before work begins by emailing Lauren@LaurenBMT.com.

When a cancellation request is received before any personalized analysis, design, image preparation, or guide creation has begun, we may issue a full refund to the original payment method.

Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be canceled. Work may begin shortly after the required photograph and information are received.

After Personalized Work Has Begun

Once Lauren B. Color Studio has begun reviewing your photograph, preparing your analysis, developing recommendations, designing your guide, or creating personalized images, the order is no longer eligible for cancellation or a refund.

This applies even when the completed guide has not yet been delivered because time and creative services have already been devoted specifically to your order.

Completed and Delivered Digital Products

Due to the personalized and digital nature of our products, completed or delivered Beauty Guides are nonreturnable and nonrefundable.

Digital products cannot be physically returned, and access to a downloaded or emailed file cannot always be withdrawn after delivery.

Purchasing a service confirms that you understand the personalized nature of the work and agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Photograph Requirements

Customers are responsible for submitting a photograph that follows the photo guidelines provided on the website. The photograph should generally be:

• Clear and in focus
• Forward-facing
• Taken in natural, neutral lighting
• Free from filters and heavy editing
• Taken with little to no makeup
• An accurate representation of the customer's current appearance

When a submitted photograph is unsuitable, we may request a replacement before beginning or completing the analysis.

Failure to provide an acceptable photograph or requested information may delay the order. It does not automatically qualify the order for a refund after work has begun.

Customer Preferences and Color Results

Personal color analysis involves professional and creative judgment. Results may differ from previous analyses, personal expectations, online quizzes, or opinions given by other analysts.

A refund will not be issued solely because:

• You expected a different seasonal category
• You prefer colors outside the recommended palette
• Another analyst previously gave you a different result
• You change your hair color, makeup, or appearance after ordering
• You decide that you no longer want the service
• You disagree with a subjective style or beauty recommendation

The guide is intended to provide personalized direction and inspiration, not rigid rules about what you may wear.

Corrections and Revisions

We want your guide to accurately reflect the information you submitted. Please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery if your guide contains a clear error, such as:

• An incorrect name
• A missing purchased section
• A duplicated or damaged page
• A file that cannot be opened
• A recommendation based on information that was entered incorrectly by Lauren B. Color Studio

When appropriate, we will correct the error and provide a replacement file at no additional charge.

Requests involving a change of preference, a different photograph, a different hairstyle, a new hair color, an alternate seasonal result, or substantial redesign may require an additional revision fee or a new purchase.

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, one reasonable round of minor corrections may be provided at our discretion.

Digital File Problems

If you do not receive your guide or cannot access the delivered file, please contact us promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to:

• Confirm the email address used for the order
• Resend the delivery email
• Supply a replacement download link
• Replace a corrupted or incomplete file
• Provide the file in another commonly supported format when practical

A delivery or technical problem will normally be resolved by replacing or redelivering the product rather than issuing a refund.

Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same service more than once, contact us as soon as possible. A duplicate charge may be refunded when:

• The duplicate purchase is confirmed
• No work has begun on the additional order
• No separate guide or service has been delivered for that purchase

Failure to Provide Required Information

Your order may require a photograph, questionnaire, preferences, or other information before work can begin. When required information is not received, we may contact you using the email address submitted with the order.

If you do not respond within 30 days, the order may be placed on hold. Any refund request will be evaluated based on whether personalized work has already begun and any applicable legal requirements.

Delays and Inability to Complete an Order

Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith but may occasionally be affected by order volume, technical issues, illness, or the need for additional customer information.

If Lauren B. Color Studio is unable to complete your order, you will receive either:

• The opportunity to accept a revised delivery date, or
• A refund for the portion of the service that was not provided

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact Lauren B. Color Studio before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the concern.

Submitting a chargeback does not change the terms of this policy. We may provide the payment processor with order records, correspondence, delivery records, submitted photographs, and evidence of work completed when responding to a dispute.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection or payment-card laws.

Exceptions Required by Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to eliminate rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

A refund, replacement, or other resolution may be provided when required by applicable law, including situations involving an unauthorized charge, a service that was not provided, or a materially defective digital file that cannot reasonably be corrected.

The Kansas Attorney General enforces the Kansas Consumer Protection Act, including protections against deceptive and unconscionable business practices.

The federal three-day Cooling-Off Rule generally covers certain sales made at a customer's home, workplace, dormitory, or temporary sales location; it is not a general cancellation right for every online purchase.

How Refunds Are Issued

When a refund is approved:

• It will normally be returned to the original payment method.
• Processing time may vary depending on the bank or payment provider.
• Any approved partial refund will reflect the portion of the service that was not completed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by a customer's bank, card issuer, or payment processor.
